Stumbling Onto Sacred Ground
The name Shoes Removed is inspired by a story in the ancient Hebrew scriptures where God instructs Moses to remove his sandals as he is standing on holy ground. Nothing is more apparent to me that when I am given the privilege to hear and hold your story in my therapy room, I am walking on sacred ground. You can expect utmost respect and reverence as you embark upon the brave and hopeful path of therapeutic growth.
By creating an open and judgment free therapeutic space, I empower clients to love all of the parts of themselves, shift patterns that aren’t life giving, and inhabit spaces that are expansive enough to hold and celebrate their truest selves.
Creating Healing Spaces
With over two decades at Shoes Removed Therapy & Wellness, my journey as a Licensed Professional Counselor has been dedicated to guiding individuals through personal transformation. With a Master’s in Counseling and Theology, I am well versed in spiritual direction. I believe beauty and laughter can heal, and integrate both into my work. I continue to expand my expertise in counseling, archetypal psychology, meditation, breathwork and somatic healing to help clients uncover their intrinsic potential.
When I'm not working with clients, I spend my time with my dogs, Hazel and Juniper, and my two grown sons. I love the outdoors and hiking in the mountains near my home in Evergreen, Colorado.
